MEET THE TEAM

Mary Malone McCarthy - Mary Malone grew up in an entrepreneurial family and is proud to continue the legacy through her own vision and companies. She is the founder of M3 Placement & Partnership, an executive search and strategic human resource firm as well as the founder of Plaidguy where she lets her creative energy thrive. As a female CEO, she believes in bringing out the best in others and giving back through serving on a variety of boards. Mary Malone and her husband reside in Loudonville, NY and have three children. When not at the helm of one of her companies, Mary Malone loves to spend time in the Adirondacks, decorating or entertaining in their home. Her happiest moments are bringing family and friends together to enjoy quality time.

  

Maria Peakes - Maria is an apparel and accessory industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in product development, production, inventory control, and sourcing. Some of the brands and private label companies she has worked with include Robert Talbott, Biscotti, and Golden Rainbow. She is a graduate of Syracuse University and has deep family ties to the Adirondack region and upstate New York. She is a mother of two adult children, as well as a dog mom to her 13 1/2 year old golden doodle Mac (one of Plaidguy's product models!). For fun, Maria enjoys sewing, painting, and golfing. 

 

Caroline Guthrie - Caroline is a recent graduate of Bucknell University, where she majored in Political Science and Spanish. In addition to her role as the Marketing and Content Manager at Plaidguy, she also works in broadcast news in New York City. With a passion for all things communication and entertainment, she is always searching for new ideas and trends – whether that be plaid home decor or fun news stories. Tambra Bonatti - Tambra Bonatti is the founder and CEO of Pentapedal: a nimble team of design, development and marketing professionals with a focus on special events. Tambra enjoys working relationships with a variety of clients including ESPN, NFL, NBCUniversal, WarnerMedia, Best Buy, and Hulu. She has led the creative development & account management for many high-profile events, including multiple Super Bowls, media upfronts, sales meetings, and sponsor summits. Before founding Pentapedal (formerly Bright Spot Events), Tambra worked as a graphic designer in the advertising industry, creating identity systems, interactive designs and promotional campaigns for FedEx, AT&T, New Balance, Nestle Water, Heineken, Amstel Light, Dunkin' Donuts and W.J. Deutsch. When Tambra isn't working, she is exploring the great outdoors with her husband and 2 beautiful girls, or hanging out with her family and friends.
